I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I started messing with sound gear at age of 5 on my, gospel singing, father's Kustom PA. At age 15, I started working at Rickman Auditorium, in Arnold, MO, which was located on my high school campus. This is where I learned the gazintas and gazoutas of theater sound and lighting, working with artist such as Pam Tillis, Pat Boone, Charlie Daniels Band, Phyllis Diller, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and many others. Along with the Theater job, I worked with Barking Dog Sound out of Fayetteville, AR for a couple of years while in High School, doing various festivals and concerts around the Midwest. Upon graduating high school, I went to college at Missouri State University on a music scholarship studying music performance and jazz with an emphasis on percussion. Once I finished school I began working at Springfield Central Systems as an installer of high-end home theaters and central vacuum systems before moving to Portland in 2001. I arrived here in the Pacific Northwest mid April and started working at PS&L, May 1st of 2001. My first love and passion is drumming, I played drums with Big Island Shindig for 6 years and am currently playing with Sarah Moon & The Night Sky. I feel that drumming after work helps keep me out of trouble, most of the time. I received Portland's Citizen Medal of Heroism in 2008 for breaking up a nasty fight and helping locate the attackers that left 2 people in the hospital and putting one of themselves in prison for 11 years.
